SpinRay Energy produces 240 Watt DIY "plug and play" Supplimental Solar Appliances that plug directly into your existing 120 volt outside receptacle.

What this means is that their products incorporate a solar panel with a Micro-Inverter to directly and simply produce 120 volt or 240 volt AC power. The micro-inverter also acts as a Grid-Tie system so it properly integrates with the power grid.

The product is packaged in one of two ways. One, the DeckPower, has a metal bracket that would sit on the railing of a typical "deck". The other, LawnPower, is meant to sit on the lawn.

Because it has a micro-inverter you just plug it directly into a 120 volt or 240 volt outlet.
